The purpose of the PPE Policy is to protect visitors and the employees of ELYWIN WEALTH NIGERIA LIMITED from the occupational hazards within the workplace by providing protective equipment (PPE). It is our goal to use engineering controls as the primary method for protecting employees. However, when additional protection is necessary, employees will wear PPE. The scope of this policy includes PPE for eye, face, head, foot, leg, and hand protection. If other personal protection is necessary, the organization’s occupational safety program will cover their use.

It is the policy of EWNL to provide high quality Personal Protective Equipment to every new employee engaged in field operations. A complete set of PPE’s such as:

    1. 2 Coveralls

    2. Safety shoes and rain boots

    3. Hard hat

    4. Hand gloves

    5. Eye goggles;

will be issued to field staff every year, while office/administrative staff will have their PPE’s renewed every 2 years.

The management shall enforce the effective use and maintenance of PPE, which entails regular condition audits and replacement of defective units. Site safety officer and supervisor shall continually monitor the compliance of the PPE policy.
